The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released a notification informing candidates that it will no longer conduct recruitment process for the post of Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) (Executive) in CISF.

In a notice released by the Commission its official website, SSC said, "There is now no provision for filing up vacancies of ASI (Exe.) in CISF through direct recruitment."

Until last year, the commission had been conducting the recruitment for the position in CISF, however, from this year onwards, the ASI post in this armed force will not be filled through Direct Recruitment.

"It has been reported by the M/o Home Affairs that there is now no provision for filling up of vacancies of ASI (Exe.) in CISF through Direct Recruitment," the SSC notification read.

SSC had earlier in September released the recruitment notification for Sub-Inspector (SI) in Delhi Police, Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) in CISF mentioning that the paper 1 for SI, ASI recruitment would be conducted from December 11 to December 13, 2019.

However, the commission had not mentioned the number of vacancies stating that to would be decided by SSC in due course of time.
