SSC CHSL Recruitment 2020 Dates Revised, Know Important Details

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) recently revised dates related to the submission of application forms for its Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) examination 2020.

The last date to apply for SSC CHSL Recruitment 2020, which was December 15, was extended till December 19. Candidates must apply now to avoid the last hour rush.

Last date for making online fee payment: Dec 21 (23:30 pm)

Last date for generation of offline Challan: Dec 23 (23:30 pm)

Last date for payment through Challan: Dec 24

Computer Based Examination (Tier-I): April 12 to 27

For this year, there are a total of 4726 vacancies which includes 158 posts for LDC/JSA/JPA, 3181 for PA/SA, and 7 for DEO posts, read the commission’s official notification.

Educational Qualification For SSC CHSL Exam

LDC/ JSA, PA/ SA, DEO (except DEOs in C&AG): Candidates must have completed 12th class or equivalent examination from a recognised Board or University.

Data Entry Operator (DEO Grade ‘A’) in the Office of Comptroller and Auditor General of India (C&AG): Candidates must have completed 12th class exams in Science stream with Mathematics as a subject from a recognised Board or equivalent.

Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA): Pay Level-2 (Rs 19,900-63,200)

Postal Assistant (PA)/Sorting Assistant (SA): Pay Level-4 (Rs 25,500-81,100)

Data Entry Operator (DEO): Pay Level-4(Rs 25,500-81,100) and Level-5(Rs 29,200-92,300)
