In a major development, the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has made an amendment in the Group B vacancies of Central Bureau of Narcotics. As per a notification released by the SSC in the official website, it has mentioned that the age criteria has been amended and the upper age limit for the post of Inspector in the Central Bureau of Narcotics increased.

While the upper age limit for the post of Inspector was 27, it has now been increased to 30.

Candidates seriously preparing for the SSC exams have now a golden opportunity at hands due to the age relaxation. However, as the SSC is yet to declare the dates of the CGL TierI exam, it is assumed that the examination will be held next year.

Meanwhile, it is also being predicted that this delay could increase the cut-off marks for general candidates. As per reports, previous year the cut-off mark was 130 which was reduced to 126 later.
