SBI Clerk Prelim Result 2019: The State Bank of India (SBI) is all set to declare the SBI Clerk Prelim examination result 2019. Candidates can check their results on the career page of the official website of SBI- sbi.co.in/careers.

Candidates who will qualify the SBI Clerk Prelims will be eligible for SBI Clerk Mains examination. The preliminary exam was held via online mode on June 22 and 23 while the SBI Clerk Mains examination will be held on August 10, 2019.

Steps To Check SBI Clerk Prelims Result 2019

Step 1- Log in to the official website of SBI- sbi.co.in

Step 2- Click on the 'Careers' tab and then Click on 'SBI Clerk Prelims result' link on the page

Step 3- A pdf file containing the registration number of qualifying candidates will be displayed

Step 4- Download the SBI results and take a printout of the same for future reference

SBI Clerk Recruitment 2019 Selection Process

Those who qualify the SBI Clerk Prelims examination will have to appear for the Mains exam. The tentative date for the main examination is August 10 while the call letter can be downloaded tentatively from the fourth week of July.

The number of candidates selected for the mains exam is approximately 10 times the number of vacancy in that category. The number of candidates shortlisted for the SBI Clerk Mains Exam will be approximately 10 times the numbers of SBI Clerk vacancies.

The mains exam will be held for two-hour and forty minute and carry 200 marks. There will be 190 questions which will be divided into four sections- General and Financial Awareness (50 marks) General English (40 marks), Quantitative Aptitude (50 marks), Reasoning Ability and Computer Aptitude (60 marks).

Candidate will have 35 minutes each for solving general and financial awareness and general English questions and 45 minutes each for quantitative aptitude and reasoning ability questions. The marks obtained by the candidate will only be considered for preparing the provisional selection list.

After the mains exam, there will be a local language test for the candidates who have not studied specified local language opted while filling the application form. However, those candidates who produce the necessary certificate will not have to undergo the language test.
