SAIL Recruitment 2019: Multiple Posts’ Vacancy, Check Details & Apply by July 14

The Steel Authority of India Limited, SAIL Collieries Division has released a recruitment notification for the positions of Overman, Mining Sirdar and Surveyor. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the positions before the deadline.

Overman: 19 Posts

Mining Sirdar: 52 Posts

Surveyor: 1 Post

Age Limit (As on 10 Mar 2019)

Minimum: 18 Years

Maximum: 28 Years

Meanwhile, relaxation in age is there by 05 years for SC/ST candidates and 03 years for OBC candidates.

Educational Qualification

Overman: Matriculation with 03 years Diploma in Mining Engineering from a Govt. recognised Institute with minimum 50% aggregate marks.

Mining Sirdar, S-1: Matriculation from a Govt. recognised Institute with valid Mining Sirdar’s Certificate of Competency from DGMS under CMR (for Coal Mines), along with valid Gas Testing & First-Aid Certificate.

Surveyor, S-3: Matriculation with 03 years full-time Diploma in Mining & Mine’s Survey from a Govt. recognised Institute with minimum 50% aggregate marks.

Selection Process

Candidates’ selection will be done on the basis of their performance in Written Test and Skill Test/Trade Test.
