RRB Recruitment 2018: Vital Notification for Railway Group C Aspirants

The year 2018 has been one of the most busiest years for the government job aspirants, especially the railway job aspirants as the Indian Railways have released several notifications for the recruitment of more and more candidates.

Adding to the recruitment process, the Southern Railway has released a recruitment notification for the Apprentice positions. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the positions before the deadline.

The last date of form submission is January 13, 2019.

Apprentice: 2609 Posts

Age Limit

Minimum: 15 Years

Maximum: 22 Years (Freshers)

Maximum: 24 Years (Ex-ITI, MLT)

Minimum Technical Qualification

1. a) Must have passed 10th class examination under 10 +2 system or its equivalent with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.
2. b) Must have passed ITI Course in relevant trades from a recognized institution.
3. c) Must have passed +2 with Science (Physics, Chemistry & Biology) for MLT Candidates.

NOTE: Minimum 50% marks in SSLC not applicable for SC/ST/PWD candidates. Candidates with higher qualifications viz. Diploma/Degree and Course complete Act Apprentices are not eligible to apply.

Application Fee

Candidates applying under general and OBC categories will have to pay Rs 100 while there is no fee for SC/ST/PH/Women candidates.

NOTE: The application fee is to be paid only through ONLINE mode.
