RRB Railway Group D Result Date Change, PET, New Quota, Joining Date Details

RRB Railway Group D Result 2018-2019: The much awaited Group D result of Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), which was expected to be released on February 13, will now be releasing on February 17.

According to a report of  indianexpress.com, RRB official Angaraj Mohan confirmed that instead of Wednesday, the result will be released on Sunday.

“Taking into consideration the number of candidates, the board is taking time and precautions to release error-free results. The results of RRB Group D examinations will be released by Sunday, February 17, 2019,” indianexpress.com quoted Mohan as saying.

Those who would have cleared the exam will later go through a Physical Endurance Test (PET). NOTE: The dates for the test is yet to be released by the RRB but it is expected to be conducted within one month of the release of the result.

RRB Group D PET Details

For Male:

Male candidates will have to complete a distance of 1000 metres within four minutes and 15 seconds. besides, they will have to life and carry 35 kilograms of weight for a distance of 100 metres in two minutes- without putting the weight down.

For Female:

Female candidates will have to complete for 1000 metres in five minutes and 40 seconds. Besides, they will have to lift and carry 20 kg of weight for a distance of 100 metres in two minutes- without putting the weight down.

NOTE: Admit card for PET will be issued separately.

Meanwhile, document verification of the candidates who would clear the PET is likely to be held within one month and similarly, posting by April-May.

Important to Note

“Apart from the benefits credited to the reserved category candidates, the economically poor candidates will also get benefits according to 10 per cent reservation,” indianexpress.com quoted an RRB official.
