RRB NTPC invites applications for 3,058 Under Graduate level posts, apply by Nov 27

RRB NTPC released an official notification for the recruitment of 3,058 under graduate-level posts, including Trains Clerk, Junior Clerk-cum-Typist, Commercial-cum-Ticket Clerk and other positions. 

Interested and eligible candidates can submit their applications online through rrbchennai.gov.in. The last date for applying is November 27, 2025.

Commercial Cum Ticket Clerk: 2424 Posts
Accounts Clerk cum Typist: 394 Posts
Junior Clerk cum Typist: 163 Posts
Trains Clerk: 77 Posts

Eligibility Criteria

All posts require a 12th (+2 Stage) qualification or its equivalent with not less than 50 per cent marks in aggregate. The 50 per cent mark criterion will not be insisted upon for SC, ST, Persons with Benchmark Disability, Ex-servicemen and candidates possessing qualifications higher than 12th (+2 Stage).

Typing proficiency in English or Hindi on a computer is essential for Accounts Clerk-cum-Typist and Junior Clerk-cum-Typist posts.

Age Limit

Applicants must be between 18 and 30 years of age as on January 1, 2026, with age relaxations applicable as per rules.

Application Fee

The application fee is Rs 500 for all candidates. Those belonging to SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, PwBD, Female, Transgender, Minorities or Economically Backward Class (EBC) categories are required to pay Rs 250.

Salary

The salary for Commercial-cum-Ticket Clerk is Rs 21,700, while Accounts Clerk-cum-Typist, Junior Clerk-cum-Typist and Trains Clerk positions offer a salary of Rs 19,900.
