RRB announces 5,810 vacancies for graduates, check details

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) released an official notification inviting online applications for the recruitment of 5,810 posts, including Traffic Assistant, Station Master, and other positions. 

Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the official RRB website, rrbchennai.gov.in. The last date to submit the online application form is November 20, 2025.

Eligibility Criteria

For the post of Chief Commercial Cum Ticket Supervisor, candidates must hold a degree from a recognised university or its equivalent. Similarly, Station Master, Goods Train Manager, and Traffic Assistant posts also require a degree from a recognised university or its equivalent.

For Junior Accounts Assistant Cum Typist and Senior Clerk Cum Typist positions, candidates must have a degree along with typing proficiency in English or Hindi on a computer.

Application Fee

Candidates belonging to SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, PwBD, Female, Transgender, Minorities, or Economically Backward Class (EBC) categories must pay an application fee of Rs 250, while all other candidates must pay Rs 500. The last date for online fee payment is November 22, 2025.

The modification window for corrections in the application form will remain open from November 23 to December 2, 2025. Eligible scribe candidates must provide their details between December 3 and December 7, 2025.

Selection Process

The selection process comprises Computer-Based Test 1 (CBT 1), Computer-Based Test 2 (CBT 2), Computer-Based Aptitude Test (CBAT), followed by Document Verification and Medical Examination.
