The Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UKPSC) has invited online applications for the posts of Jail Warders.
Interested candidates can apply online by visiting the official website of UKPSC i.e. psc.uk.gov.in on or before December 5.
A total of 238 vacant posts will be filled through this recruitment drive.

Educational qualification
The candidates must have passed 12th from a recognised board. Along with this, he/she should have working knowledge of Hindi in Devanagari script.

Age limit
The age of candidate must be between 21 to 35 years of age as on July 1, 2022.
“The ex-servicemen candidates who have already secured employment under the State Govt. in Groups C & D will be permitted the benefit of age relaxation as prescribed for ex-servicemen for securing another employment in a higher grade or cadre in Group C/D under the State Govt. However, such candidates will not be eligible for the benefit of reservation for ex-servicemen in State Govt. jobs,” read the official notification.
Physical standard
Candidates must meet the prescribed physical standards like the minimum height though candidates from hilly areas are given a relaxation to the prescribed extent.
Selection Process
The selection process of the candidates will be done on the basis physical measurement test (PMT), physical efficiency test (PET), written test, document verification and medical examination.
