PGCIL recruitment: Apply for 800 Field Engineer & Field Supervisor posts, check details

The Power Grid Corporation Of India (PGCIL), a Maharatna Enterprise of Government of India, has invited applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of Field Engineer & Field Supervisor on temporary and contractual basis.

Total Vacancy: 800

• Field Engineer (Electrical): 50

• Field Engineer (Electronics & Communication): 15

• Field Engineer (IT): 15

• Field Supervisor (Electrical): 480

• Field Supervisor (Electronics & Communication): 240

Educational Qualification

Candidate should have passed Diploma/BE/BTech/ BSc (Engg.) in Electrical discipline or equivalent discipline from recognised University / Institute with minimum 55% marks for General/OBC(NCL)/EWS and pass marks for SC/ST/PwBD candidates. 

Remuneration

Field Engineer

Contract personnel will be paid monthly remuneration in the pay band of Rs 30,000 - 3% - 1,20,000 with initial basic pay of Rs 30,000/- + Industrial DA + HRA + perks.

Field Supervisor

Contract personnel will be paid monthly remuneration in the pay band of Rs 23,000 -3% -1,05,000 with initial basic pay of Rs 23,000/- + Industrial DA + HRA. 

Perks @ maximum 35 % of basic pay (Shall be paid as Variable Pay, subject to performance criteria defined by Management). 

Age limit

The upper age of the candidate is 29 years as on December 11, 2022. Candidates should not have been born before 11.12.1993 or after 11.12.2004). The age Relaxation will be given as per the Rules of the Government.

• Gen/ OBC/ EWS (For Field Supervisor): Rs 300
• SC/ ST/PH/ESM: Nil
