The Reserve Bank of India has released an advertisement for Engagement of Medical Consultant (MC) in the Bank on Contract Basis with ‘Fixed Hourly Remuneration’.

“Applications are invited from eligible candidates for preparing a panel of 14 posts of Part-time Bank’s Medical Consultant (MC) on purely contract basis, with fixed hourly remuneration for the dispensaries of Reserve Bank of India (the Bank) located in Mumbai,” read the official notification.

Interested and eligible candidates may apply as per the prescribed format (click the link given below). Application in a sealed cover should reach the Regional Director, Human Resource Management Department, Recruitment Section, Reserve Bank of India, Mumbai Regional Office, Shahid Bhagat Singh Road, Fort, Mumbai - 400001 before 1700 hrs. on March 13, 2020 (tentative).

The sealed cover should be super-scribed as ‘Application for the post of Medical Consultant on contract basis with fixed hourly remuneration’.

Candidates seeking reservation as SC/ST/OBC must ensure that they are entitled to such reservation and should also submit all the requisite certificates in the prescribed format in support of their claim along with the application, the notification added.

NOTE: EWS vacancies are tentative and subject to further directives of Government of India and outcome of any litigation. The engagement is provisional and is subject to the income and Asset certificate being verified through proper channel.

Eligibility Criteria for RBI Recruitment 2020

Applicant should possess MBBS degree of any University recognized by the Medical Council of India in the Allopathic system of medicine.

Applicant having Master’s Degree in General Medicine may also apply. Applicant should have a minimum of 2 (two) years post qualification experience practicing Allopathic system of medicine in any hospital or clinic as Medical Practitioner.

Applicant should have his/her dispensary or place of residence within a radius of 40 km from the Bank’s dispensaries.
