Railway Vacancy Notification: Opportunity Ends, But These Candidates Can Still Apply

The Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), Southern Railway, had released a recruitment notification for Scouts and Guides Quota posts inviting interested and eligible candidates to apply for the positions. Though the application submission process ended today at 5 pm, a few candidates are still eligible to apply for the positions.

The last date to apply for the positions was November 18, till 5 pm, but candidates belonging to the Indian states of Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, J&K, Himachal Pradesh (a few areas), Andaman & Nicobar and Lakshadweep Islands, can still apply for the positions.

The closing date of application submission for these candidates is December 3, 2019 (5 pm).

Scouts & Guides Quota: Total 14 Posts

Two posts in Scouts & Guides Level 2

12 posts in Scouts & Guides Level 1

Age Limit

Scouts & Guides Level 2: 18 to 30 years  for General Category, 18 to 33 years for OBC and 18 to 35 years for SC/ST

Scouts & Guides Level 1: 18 to 33 years for General Category, 18 to 36 years for OBC and 18 to 38 years for SC/ST

Educational Qualification

Scouts & Guides Level 2

Candidate must be 10th passed or its equivalent with not less than 50% Marks in aggregate for non-technical popular categories.

Scouts & Guides Level 2 (Technical)

Candidates with Act Apprenticeship/ITI can apply to the posts.

Scouts & Guides Level 1

Candidate must be 10th pass or ITI or equivalent.
