Railway Recruitment 2019: Station Master, Goods Guard and Other Vacancies; Are You Eligible?

The South Western Railway has released a recruitment notification for its regular serving employees of SWR and RWF/YNK for the positions of Jr Clerk cum Typist, Station Master and Goods Guard. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the positions before the deadline.

The last date to apply for the 'General Departmental Comepetitive Examination (GDCE)' is July 15, 2019.

Age Limit

Upper Date of Birth

UR - 18 to 42 years (02.01.1977)
OBC - 18 to 45 years (02.07.1974)
SC/ST - 18 to 47 (02.07.1972)

Educational Qualification

Jr Clerk cum Typist: 12th from a recognized Board or Institution
Goods Guard: Degree from recognized University or equivalent
Station Master: Degree from recognized University or equivalent

Eligibility Criteria

Zone of Consideration:
(a) Eligible staff working in the Levels of posts lower than the Levels of the posts for which GDCE is
being conducted are eligible to appear in GDCE selections for all categories.
(b) Eligible staff working in same Levels of posts for which GDCEs are being conducted are eligible
to appear in selection for GOCE from non-saety to safety categories as well as safety to safety
category posts.
