The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) recently invited applications for the positions of Ministerial and Isolated Categories. While the last date to apply for the positions was slated to be April 7, it was later extended to April 22, 2019.

Meanwhile, the Railways has revised the number of vacancies in the RRB Ministerial and Isolated Category Recruitment. As per an official notice of RRB has cancelled the vacancy owing to change in work pattern in Diesel Locomotive Works (DLW), Varanasi. The Board has withdrawn Staff & Welfare Inspector post and Junior Translator/Hindi posts from the recruitment drive.

RRB has released an official notice for candidates who have applied for the same. Candidates are also informed to modify their RRBs/Railways/PUs and category options till April 30, 2019.

NOTE: Candidates will not be charged any fees for making the modifications.

Educational Qualification

Candidates applying need to have done 10+2/ Diploma/ Degree/ Master Degree/ B.Sc./ BE or B.Tech from a recognized Organization/Board.

Age Limit

Candidates need to have attained 18 years to apply while the Upper age limit to apply for the position is 45 years. Age relaxation is there for reserved category.

Selection Process

Selection of the candidates will be done based on their performance in CBT, Stenography Skill Test, Performance Test/ Teaching Skill Test, Translation Test (as applicable) and DV/ Medical Examination.
