Railway Recruitment 2019: Biggest Vacancy for Group D, ASM and Other Posts

The Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) has released a recruitment notification for the positions of Group D Posts in RRC across the country. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the positions before the last date of application.

The last date to apply for the positions is April 12, 2019.

Educational Qualification

10th pass / 12th or ITI from institutions recognized by NCVT/ SCVT or equivalent or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT are eligible to apply for the positions.

Selection Procedure

Candidate will be selected on the basis of Computer Based Test(s), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Document Verification and Medical Examination.

Age Limit

The candidate should be minimum 18 years and maximum 33 years as on 01.07.2019. Age relaxation is there for reserved category.

Application Fee

Candidates applying under General and OBC categories will have to pay Rs 500 and while SC/ ST/ PWD/ Ex-S/ Female/ Transgender candidates will have to pay Rs 250.

Pay Scale

Different posts carry different Pay Levels and allowances as per 7th CPC Pay Matrix.

Earlier reports were there that over 1.3 lakh more railway jobs will be up for grabs in the coming days. While around one lakh vacancies will be for group D, the rest will be for Assistant Station Master and guards along with Non-Technical Popular Categories like paramedics and nurses.
