RRB Recruitment 2019: Though the tentative months for the conduct of RRB NTPC Examination was between June and September, media reports claim that the examination may get delayed.

However, there is no official confirmation by the RRB regarding the dates of examinations but it is being said that the RRB NTPC 1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT) might be conducted by the board in October as the RRB is reportedly busy in conducting other recruitment exams like RRB junior engineer (JE) and RRB ALP Technician.

RRB NTPC Recruitment 2019 Selection Process & Exam Pattern

The candidates will have to undertake two computer-based tests (CBTs)- 1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT) and 2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT) which will be followed by Typing Skill Test/Computer Based Aptitude Test (as applicable) and then Document Verification/Medical Examination.

The CBT will be for 120 minutes and there will be 150 questions. For details on section-wise marks and syllabus, you can check the official notification released by the RRB earlier.

The CBT 1 will have negative marking where 0.3 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer and the questions will be multiple-choice questions.

RRB NTPC Admit Card 2019

The Board might release the admit cards for RRB NTPC 2019 by the last week of September.

Steps To Download The Admit Card

Step 1- Visit the official website of RRB of your particular region. For eg, if you have applied from Muzaffarpur, you can check the details on- rrbmuzaffarpur.gov.in

Step 2- Click on the admit card link ‘RRB NTPC CBT I Admit Card 2019’ available on the homepage

Step 3- You will be redirected to a new page, fill in your log-in details and click on ‘submit’ button

Step 4- Your admit card will appear on the screen. Download and take a print out of it for future references

RRB NTPC Recruitment 2019 Vacancy Details

A total of 35,277 vacancies are notified for the recruitment out of which 10,628 are for level 12th pass while a total of 24,649 vacancies are for graduate degree holders.

The Railways will conduct the exam for the recruitment various posts under RRB NTPC (Non-Technical Popular Categories) which include Junior Clerk cum Typist, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Junior Time Keeper, Trains Clerk, Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Traffic Assistant, Goods Guard, Senior Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Junior Account Assistant cum Typist, Senior Clerk cum Typist, Senior Time Keeper, Commercial Apprentice and Station Master in various zonal railways and production units of the Indian Railways.
