In a major announcement of the Indian Railways for job seekers, the Central Railways has invited applications from candidates for engagement of Jr. Technical Associate (Works). Interested and eligible candidates are advised to apply for the vacancies on or before the closing date of application i.e. June 23, 2019 till 5PM.

Age Limit: As per the notification, the revised age limit for Unreserved category is 33, OBC - 36, SC/ST - 38.
Educational / Professional Qualifications: Candidates should posses the required academic/ Technical qualification on or before date of issuing of Notification for applying against the post notified vide notification as given below.
Category of Post: Junior Technical Associate (Works) Level-6.
Essential Prescribed Qualification: Four years Bachelor's degree in (a) Civil Engineering or (b) a combination of any sub stream of basic streams of Civil Engineering from a recognized University/Institute OR (a) three years Diploma in Civil Engineering or B.Sc in Civil Engineering of three years duration (b) a combination of any sub stream of basic streams of Civil Engineering from a recognized University / Institute.
Note: The engagement will be offered purely on contract basis for a period of one year from the date of contract, which can be renewed as a fresh contract on year to year basis or till such time availability of a regularly selected candidate, whichever is earlier.

Examination Fee: General category candidates will have to pay Rs 500 which is non refundable. For candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/Women/ Minorities/ EWS, the examination fees is Rs 250 with a provision for refunding the same to those who are found eligible as per notification and actually appear in the Personality/Intelligence Test.
