Postal Recruitment 2019-20 For Sorting Assistant, Postman/Mail Guard, MTS Vacancies

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the positions of Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant, Postman/Mail Guard, Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) in Tamil Nadu postal circle. Those who are interested should apply for the positions immediately as the last date for submission of application is December 31, 2019.

Age Limit: The age of candidates applying for Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant or Postman posts should be between 18 and 27 years. The age of applicants of Multi-Tasking Staff should be between 18 and 25 years. However, there is age relaxation as per the norms.

Educational Qualification: 

For Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant: Should have passed 10+2 or Class 12 from a recognised University/Board. The candidates will be required to furnish Certificate of Basic Computer Training from a recognised computer training institute before issuance of appointment letter.

Postman, Multi-Tasking Staff: Should have passed Std 12th from a recognised Board. Should have knowledge of local language and studied local language at least up to Std 10th.

Pay Scale:

For Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant Posts: Rs 25500-81100/-
For Postman Posts: Rs 21700-69100/-
For MTS Posts: Rs. 18000-56900/-

Application Fee: The candidates shall have to pay an application fee of Rs 100 on or before December 28, 2019.

Selection Process: Selection of candidates will be done as per Written Exam & later an interview will be conducted.
