Post Office Recruitment 2019: Notification for Over 4440 Posts, Apply Date Extended

The Tamil Nadu Postal Circle has released a recruitment notification for the positions of Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS). Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the positions before the deadline, which has been extended.

The last of application submission is now April 18, 2019. Earlier it was scheduled to end on April 15.

Educational Qualification

Secondary School Examination (SSC) passed can apply for the positions. Aspirants must have complete knowledge on local languages. And also must have undergone a 60 days computer training certification.

Essential Qualification

Age Limit (As on March 15, 2019)

Minimum: 18 Years

Maximum: 40 Years

Upper age limit for SC/ ST is relaxable by 5 years; for OBC 3 years and 10 years for PwD candidates.
