In a major recruitment, the Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission has invited applications from eligible candidates for the positions of Sub Inspector, Sergeant and Assistant Superintendent Jail. Sergeant – 215 (SC-38, ST-3, EBC-40, BC-26, EWS-22, Female of all BC-6, UR-80)

Assistant Superintendent Jail (Direct Recruitment) – 125 (SC-19, ST-1, EBC-22, BC-15, EWS-13, Female of all BC-4, UR-51)

Assistant Superintendent Jail (Ex-Serviceman) – 42 (SC-4, EBC-8, BC-5, EWS-6, Female of all BC-2, UR-17)

Age Limit: Age of candidates belonging to Unreserved category should be between 20 years and 37 years as on January 1, 2019. However, there is age relaxation for SC/ ST /OBC/PWD/ PH Candidates as per government norms.

Fee Details: Application fee for General/OBC candidates is Rs 700 while for SC/ST candidates it is Rs 400.
Selection Process: Selection of candidates will be based on Pre Exam and then Mains Exam which will be followed by a Physical Fitness Test.
