OSSC Combined Police Service Exam 2020: Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has invited applications from interested and eligible candidates for Combined Police Service Exam 2020.

The examination will be conducted to fill 104 vacancies in the post of Sub-Inspector of Police, Station Officer (Fire Service) and Assistant Jailor on contractual basis under Home Department of Odisha Government.

Candidates can apply for OSSC Combined Police Service Exam 2020 on the official website of OSSC i.e. on or before September 25, 2020.

Total Posts - 104


Sub-Inspector of Police- 47 posts

Station Officer (Fire Service)- 13 posts

Assistant Jailor- 44 posts

Qualification: The candidate must be a graduate in any discipline from a recognised university to apply for the post of SI of Police and Assistant Jailor.

For the post of Station officer, a candidate must be a science or engineering graduate from a recognised university or institution. PWD candidates are not eligible to apply for these posts. Women candidates are eligible to apply for the post of Sub Inspector of Police and Assistant Jailor.

Age Limit: Candidates applying for these posts shall be within 21 to 25 years of age as on 01.01.2019 with usual relaxation of upper age limit in case of SC/ST/SEBC & Women candidates.

Pay Scale: The appointment will be initially on contractual basis carrying a consolidated pay of Rs.16,880 per month.

Payment of Examination Fees: The candidates except SC & ST category have to pay a non-refundable examination fee of Rs 200.

Selection Process: The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of Preliminary Test, Physical Measurement & Physical Test, Physical Standard Measurements, Physical Efficiency Test and Mains Exam.
