OPSC Recruitment 2021: Latest Notification For 2452 Posts Of Medical Officers

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has issued notification to fill up 2452 posts of Medical Officers (Assistant Surgeon) in Group A (Junior Branch) of Odisha Medical & Health Services Cadre.

The Commission has invited online applications from interest candidates to fill up the vacancies under the Health and Family Welfare Department in the pay matrix of level 12, Cell-1 of ORSP Rules, 2017 with usual Dearness Allowance as may be sanctioned by Government of Odisha from time to time.

Of the total 2452 vacancies, there is reservation for sports persons and persons with disabilities (whose disability is 40 % or more)

Age: A candidate must have attained the age of 21 and must not be above the age of 32 years as on January 1, 2021 i.e he/she must have been born not earlier than January 2,1989 and not later than January 1,2000.

The upper age limit prescribed above shall be relaxable by 5 years for candidates belonging to the categories of Scheduled Castes (S), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Socially & Educationally Backward Classes (SEBC), women, ex-servicemen and by 10 years for persons with disabilities whose permanent disability is 40% or more.
