OPSC Latest Recruitment For Group C Posts, Application Process Begins

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has released a recruitment notification inviting applications from eligible candidates to fill up 30 posts of Junior Assistant (Group-C).

Aspirants must apply online through the official website - http://opsconline.gov.in as the application process has already begun on September 24. The last date for submission of application is October 23, 2019, while the last date for payment of application fees is October 31, 2019.

Age Limit: Candidates must be above 21 years and below 32 years as on January 1, 2019. There will be no age relaxation for candidates under any case.

Scheduled Caste: 05 (2-W)

Scheduled Tribe: 07 (2-W)

SEBC:  03 (1-W)

Total:  30 posts (10-W)

One vacancy of each is reserved for PWD (OH) and Ex-Serviceman candidates.

Salary: Short-listed candidates will get consolidated monthly remuneration of Rs. 8880 falling under pay band of Rs. 5,200-20,200 with Grade pay of Rs. 19000 (Level-4) as per govt. in GA & PG.

Selection Process: The selection of candidates will be done on basis of written test.

Application Fee: A candidate is required to pay a non-refundable and non-adjustable fee of Rs. 500. Candidates belonging to SC or ST are exempted from payment of the fees.

Educational Qualification

Applicants must possess a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from any university incorporated by an Act of Parliament or State Legislature in India or an Educational Institution established by an Act of Parliament or deemed to be university under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or a Foreign University approved by the Central Govt.  A candidate must have adequate knowledge in basic computer skill.
