New Delhi: With the opportunity to apply for 230 posts at the National Thermal Power Corporation Limited (NTPC) coming to an end the next two days, interested candidates must brace up to apply for the same without waiting for the last day to avoid the last-hour rush.
NTPC has invited applications for the positions of Assistant Engineers (EO grade) and Assistant Chemist (EO grade) for its various stations and projects. The last date for application is March 10.
NTPC Recruitment 2021 Vacancy Details
Assistant Engineer– 200 posts (Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering & Instrumentation Engineering)
Assistant Chemist– 30 Posts
Age Limit: The Upper Age limit is 30 years as on last date of application.
Educational Qualifications
Assistant Engineer: Engineering Degree in Electrical/ Mechanical/ Electronics/ Instrumentation with minimum 60% marks from recognized university with one year post qualification experience in Operation/ Maintenance/ Erection/ Constriction/ Engineering In Thermal Or Gas Power Plant.
Assistant Chemist: M.Sc in Chemistry with 60% marks from recognized university with one year post qualification experience in Water Treatment Plant process and water analysis (RO plant, DM plant, pre-treatment plant, etc.), Boiler water chemistry (boiler water treatment & analysis of chemical parameters), and Knowledge of Cooling water treatment, Bulk Chemical analysis, knowledge of analytical instruments (like spectrophotometer, Ion chromatography, Gas chromatography), Coal sampling and analysis, Oil analysis. Should have knowledge of environmental parameter testing, monitoring and management.
Salary Details
Selected candidates will be paid between Rs 30,000 and Rs 1,20,000 per month at the basic pay of Rs 30,000.
NTPC Recruitment 2021 Application Fee
Candidate belonging to General/EWS/OBC category is required to pay a non-refundable registration fee of Rs 300. The SC/ST/PwBD/XSM category and female candidates will not be charged any registration fee.
Selection Process
The selection will be based only on online written test. The test will consist of two parts i.e. Subject Knowledge Test & Aptitude Test. The candidates have to qualify separately in both parts.
