The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has released the schedule of the computer based written examination for recruitment to 130 posts of junior executive assistants in Odisha Secretariat.

The OSSC said the Language Test in English and Odia for the post of Junior Executive Assistant-2022 will be conducted across the State from November 29, 2022 to December 2, 2022 through Computer Based Recruitment Examination (CBRE) mode.

As per the programme, the duration of the language test in Odia and English will be one hour. There will be 40 questions in the examination carrying 2.5 marks each. There will be negative marking @0.625 marks for each wrong answer. 

“Candidates concerned are advised to download their Admission letter from the official website of the Commission www.ossc.gov.in from 19.11.2022 onwards using their User Id & Password to appear for the examination. Candidates may also practice Mock Tests by clicking on the link available in the Candidate's corner on the above website,” the OSSC said.

The commission has asked PwD candidates having disability not less than 40% of permanent nature who had applied for taking assistance of a scribe in the online application to go through the advisory notice published on 24.10.2019 and may apply for the purpose in the prescribed format along with the required documents by 23.11.2022. 

“Under no circumstances a PwD candidate shall be allowed to use Scribe in the examination without taking prior permission from the Commission,” the commission said.

“COVID-19 appropriate behavior, like the use of sanitizer, social distancing, and wearing of 3(three) layer masks must be adhered to by all concerned during the conduct of the examination,” it added.
