DRDO-DMSRDE to hold walk-in-interview for research associate, junior research fellow

Defence Materials & Stores Research & Development Establishment (DMSRDE) will conduct a walk-in-interview for the engagement of research associate and junior research fellow.

1. Research Associateship: 1 post

Subject/Discipline: Polymer science/material science/ chemistry (organic)

Qualification: Ph.D or equivalent degree in relevant discipline from a recognised university.

2. Junior Research Fellowship: 4 posts

Subject/Discipline: Polymer science/material science/ chemistry (organic)

Qualification: Post graduate degree in relevant discipline (basic science in first division with NET qualification)

Date & time of walk-in-interview: December 15, 2022 (0900 hrs)

Maximum Age : For RA is 35 years and for JRF is 28 years as on date of interview (5 years relaxation for SC/ST candidates & 3 years for OBC candidates). However, the OBC candidates in the creamy layer will not-be eligible for age relaxation.

Fellowship Stipend: Rs 54,000 per month for RA and Rs 31,000 (1 & 2nd year) for JRF.

Contingency grant up to a maximum of Rs 15,000 per annum and Rs 20,000 per annum shall be paid to Research Fellows and Research Associates respectively on reimbursement basis for the first two years. The contingency grant may be increased to Rs 20,000 for the subsequent years (in case of JRF). They shall also be eligible for HRA as per Government rules.

“The award of fellowship/associateship will not confer any right on the candidate for further employment in DRDO. Director, DMSRDE reserves the right not to select any candidate, if suitable candidates are not available,” the official advertisement read.
