NEHU Recruiting Professors Under 7th CPC Pay Scale, Here's The Detail

The North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU), a Central university established under an act of Parliament, has invited application from eligible candidates for filling up of posts of Professor in various departments. Interested candidates are required to visit the official website - www.nehu.ac.in. The last date for receipt of application form is August 20, 2019. The selection will be done through a walk-in interview which will be held on August 20, 2019.

Educational Qualifications:

To be eligible for the posts, an applicant must have completed Post Graduate, Ph.D from a recognized institute or university.
Job location: Shillong and Tura, Meghalaya

Salary Details: Rs 1,44,200 - Rs 2,18,200

Application Fee: Candidates from General/OBC/Economically Weaker Sections groups are required to pay Rs 1,000 fee whereas SC/ ST/ Ex-Servicemen candidates will have to submit Rs 500 through SB Collect link given on the website. Women candidates and Persons With Disabilities are exempted from payment of application fee.

How to Apply:
Interested candidates are required to send their application with complete bio-data along with self attested copies of relevant documents through email or post/by hand to the Office of the Assistant Registrar, NEHU. Shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. The university will not provide TA/DA to attend the interview.
