The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has invited online applications for 173 non-academic (non-teaching) posts under direct recruitment. The recruitment drive covers Group A, B and C positions across various departments, offering pay levels ranging from Level 2 to Level 12 under the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC).

The last date to submit the online application and pay the application fee is January 30, 2026. Interested and eligible candidates can apply through the official NCERT website at ncert.nic.in.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for the posts must possess the required educational qualifications relevant to the post they intend to apply for, as specified in the official NCERT notification.

Age Limit

The age limit for applicants has been fixed between 18 and 50 years. Age relaxation, if any, will be applicable as per government norms.

Application Fee

The application fee for Unreserved, OBC and EWS candidates varies according to the pay level. For Level 10 to 12 posts, the fee is Rs 1500, while candidates applying for Level 6 to 7 posts are required to pay Rs 1200. For Level 2 to 5 posts, the fee has been fixed at Rs 1000. Candidates belonging to SC, ST, PwBD and Ex-Servicemen categories are exempted from paying the application fee.

Selection Process

The selection process will include a Computer Based Test (CBT), written examination, skill test and interview, depending on the post applied for.
