Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Mining Corporation Limited (OMC) is inviting applications from dynamic and competent professionals in different disciplines.

The corporation will engage a total of 15 managers in pay scale between Rs 78,800 to Rs 2, 09,200 and Rs 67,700 to Rs 2, 08,700. For the posts of Deputy General Manager (Mining) and Deputy General Manager (Legal), the pay scale is Rs 78,800 to Rs 2, 09,200 while Sr. Manager (Mining), Manager Forest & Environment), Dy. Manager (Personnel), Dy. Manager (Finance), Medical Officer -III will draw salary of Rs 67,700 to Rs 2,08,700.

Vacancy Position:

For the post of Dy. General Manager (Mining), the essential qualification is BE/B. Tech in Mining Engineering with 1st Class MMCC. Besides, the candidate must have at least 12 years of post-degree experience out of which 4 years must be in the area of Sales & Marketing of major minerals like Iron Ore, Chrome Ore, Bauxite Ore & Manganese Ore. Similarly, 8 years of post-degree experience out of which 2 years in the area of Sales & Marketing of major minerals like Iron Ore, Chrome Ore, Bauxite Ore & Manganese Ore is needed for the post of Sr. Manager along with BE/B. Tech in Mining Engineering with 1st Class MMCC.

Bachelor’s Degree in Law from recognized University and 18 years of experience is required for the post of Dy. General Manager (Legal).

Selection Methodology

Eligible candidates will be short-listed in the following manner:

Total marks 100(Base Career-50, Higher Education -10, Experience -10, Personal Interview-30)

02 (two) marks shall be given for every additional relevant higher qualification subject to a maximum of 10 (ten) marks.

02 (two) marks shall be given for every year of additional relevant experience over & above the required experience subject to a maximum of 10 (ten) marks.
