The Satish Dhawan Space Centre (ISRO SDSC SHAR) has invited online applications for 141 vacancies across various posts, including Technician, Draughtsman, Technical Assistant, and more.
Interested and eligible candidates can apply through the official ISRO SDSC SHAR website, isro.gov.in. The last date to submit applications is November 14, 2025.
Post-Wise Details and Pay Scale
According to the official notification, a total of 141 positions are available under different categories with a pay matrix ranging from Rs 19,900 to Rs 1,77,500. The distribution of posts is as follows:
Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’: 23
Technical Assistant: 28
Scientific Assistant: 03
Library Assistant ‘A’: 01
Radiographer-A: 01
Technician ‘B’: 70
Draughtsman ‘B’: 02
Cook: 03
Firemen ‘A’: 06
Light Vehicle Driver ‘A’: 03
Nurse-B: 01
Eligibility Criteria and Qualifications
Candidates must meet the prescribed educational qualifications for each post:
Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’: M.E/M.Tech/M.Sc(Engg) in Machine Design with at least 60% marks or CGPA 6.5, and a B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc(Engg) in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 65% marks or CGPA 6.84.
Technical Assistant: First Class Diploma in the relevant engineering discipline from a recognised institution.
Scientific Assistant: First Class B.Sc. with Chemistry as the main subject, or First Class Bachelor of Fine Arts (Photography) / Visual Arts (Cinematography).
Library Assistant ‘A’: Graduation in First Class.
Radiographer-A: First Class Diploma in Radiography (minimum two years) from a recognised institution.
Technician ‘B’: SSLC/SSC pass with ITI/NTC/NAC.
Draughtsman ‘B’: SSLC/SSC pass with ITI/NTC/NAC in Draughtsman (Civil) from NCVT.
Cook/Firemen ‘A’/Light Vehicle Driver ‘A’: Pass in SSLC/SSC/Matric/10th Standard.
Nurse-B: First Class Diploma in Nursing (minimum three years) recognised by State/Central Government and registered with the respective State Nursing Council.
Age Limit and Application Fee
As on November 14, 2025, the age limits are:
Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’: 18–30 years
Technical Assistant, Library Assistant ‘A’, Radiographer-A, Technician ‘B’/Draughtsman ‘B’, Cook, Light Vehicle Driver ‘A’, Nurse ‘B’: 18–35 years
Fireman ‘A’: 18–25 years
For Post Codes 01–20 & 40, the application fee is Rs 750 for all candidates, with women, SC/ST, PWBD, and Ex-Servicemen exempted. After processing, Rs 500 will be refunded to other candidates.
For Post Codes 21–39, 41 & 42, the fee is Rs 500, with the same exemption categories, and Rs 400 refunded post-deduction.
