IRCTC Recruitment 2020: Fresh Vacancy For Job Aspirants

The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC), the subsidiary of the Indian Railways that handles the catering, tourism and online ticketing operations, has released a recruitment notification.

Candidates should apply for the positions now as the last date of application submission is February 15, 2020.  IRCTC has sought applications for Group General Manager posts with job location in Kolkata, New Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai and Hyderabad.

Group General Manager(Operations/Logistics/Catering) – 02 Posts

Group General Manager(Technical) – 01 Post

IRCTC invites applications from the employees above 18 years service, in organized All India Services, Central Civil Services, Combined Engg. Services, Central and State Govt. departments, Subordinate Attached Offices and Autonomous bodies under Central Govt. (being audited by C&AG), Central/State PSUs, for appointment on Immediate Absorption basis against the regular posts for various departments at Corporate Office and various Zonal Offices of IRCTC.

Selection Procedure

The posts’ pay scale held by the applicants on temporary capacity such as on contract, on ad-hoc, on deputation basis or on financial up-gradation basis, etc. shall not be taken into account for the purpose of eligibility. Therefore, those applicants who are presently on deputation to other organization must satisfy the eligibility conditions based on their parent cadre post/pay scale and not the deputation post/pay scale.

Selection of the eligible and shortlisted candidates for Immediate Absorption shall be based on interview and assessment Of APARs/Working reports /Experience /qualification /other achievements, read the official notification.
