IOCL Southern Region Recruitment 2020: The Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL, Southern Region) has released a recruitment notification for the positions of Apprentice. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the positions before the deadline through the official website of IOCL- www.iocl.com

“IOCL proposes to engage Trade Apprentices at its Locations in States of South India (Tamil Nadu & Puducherry, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh & Telangana),” stated an IOCL notification.

The last date of application submission is January 27.

Educational Qualification Details

The candidates applying for the posts must be 10th pass and have certificate in 2-year ITI course in the relevant trade. The candidates shall be from a recognized University/Institute as a full time regular course in relevant disciplines. Qualification acquired through Part-time / Correspondence / Distance Learning mode shall render the candidate ineligible.

The candidates who have undergone Apprenticeship earlier or pursuing Apprenticeship Training in an Industry as per the Apprenticeship Act, 1961/1973 as amended from time to time or job experience for a period of 1 year or more are NOT eligible.

Age Limit (as on 31.12.2019)

• Minimum- 18 years
• Maximum- 24 years

Selection Procedure

The selection shall be on the basis of their performance - marks obtained by them in the Written Test and meeting the notified eligibility criteria.

• Starting Date of Application Submission: January 13, 2020
• Closing Date of Application Submission: January 27,2020 up to 5 PM
• Written Examination: February 9, 2020 at Chennai, Hyderabad, Vijaywada and Bengaluru
• Tentative Date for upload of provisionally qualified candidates For Document Verification- February 17, 2020
