In yet another opportunity for job seekers, the Pipeline Division of Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) has invited applications from eligible Indian Nationals for engagement of Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961 in the States of Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. According to the notification, the candidates need to have 3 years (or 2 years through lateral entry after ITI of Minimum one year duration/10+2) full time Diploma in the following disciplines- Electrical, Mechanical and Civil.
Age Limit: Applicants' age limit should be between 18 years and 24 years as on the date of eligibility.
Total vacancies in Western, Eastern, South Eastern and Southern Region Pipelines is 64.
Stipend: Apprentice will be paid a monthly consolidated stipend as per the Apprenticeship Rules with an additional amount of Rs 2500 towards Stationery, Conveyance and Miscellaneous expenses. Consolidated stipend is subject to the periodic revision in minimum wages as applicable to a particular location.
Reservation to SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD candidates shall be as per the percentage of reservation and government guidelines
Selection Process: The Selection process would consist of a Written Test.
The duration of apprenticeship shall be one year. The cut-off date for reckoning eligibility criteria shall be May 31, 2019.
