The Indian Army, Directorate General of Electronics and Mechanical Engineers (Indian Army DG EME) has released an official notification inviting applications for 194 vacancies across various posts including Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Fireman, and several technical trades.

Eligibility Criteria
Electrician (Highly Skilled-II): Pass in 10+2 with ITI certificate in the respective trade or grade.
Electrician (Power) (Highly Skilled-I): Pass in 10+2 with ITI certificate; Armed Forces Personnel or Ex-servicemen from the appropriate trade and minimum at grade I.
Telecom Mechanic (Highly Skilled-II): Pass in 10+2 with ITI certificate or Armed Forces Personnel/Ex-servicemen from the appropriate trade and minimum at grade I.
Engineering Equipment Mechanic (Highly Skilled Grade-II): Pass in 10+2 with ITI certificate in Motor Mechanic trade, or B.Sc. with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, or Armed Forces Personnel/Ex-servicemen at grade I.
Welder (Skilled): ITI certificate or Armed Forces Personnel/Ex-servicemen from the respective trade at grade I.
Storekeeper and LDC: Pass in 12th class from a recognised board or university.
Fireman, Cook, Tradesman Mate, Washerman: Matriculation pass or equivalent.
Vehicle Mechanic (Armoured Fighting Vehicle) (Highly Skilled-II): Pass in 10+2 with ITI certificate in Motor Mechanic trade.
Telephone Operator Grade-II: Matriculation or equivalent with compulsory subject.
Machinist, Fitter, Tin and Copper Smith (Skilled): ITI certificate in the respective trade or Armed Forces Personnel/Ex-servicemen at grade I.
Age Limit
The minimum age limit is 18 years, and the maximum age limit is 25 years.
SC/ST candidates: 5 years relaxation
OBC (Non-creamy layer): 3 years relaxation
Persons with Benchmark Disabilities: 10 years (15 years for SC/ST and 13 years for OBC candidates)
Selection Process
Selection will be based on a Written Test, followed by a Skill Test and Physical Test (wherever applicable). The written examination will be conducted for all trades, and the selection committee may fix minimum qualifying marks for any or all papers.
Candidates qualifying in the written test will proceed to the next stages. The Skill and Physical Tests will be qualifying in nature, and those who fail to qualify will not be considered for final selection.
