India Post Office Recruitment 2020, Opportunity Ends On New Year's Eve

The Tamil Nadu Postal Circle had earlier sought applications from candidates with the requisite qualifications for the positions of Postman, Multi-Tasking staff and Postal Assistant. Now, candidates will have to brace up as today, the New Year's Eve is the last date of application submission.

"Applications are invited from meritorious Sportspersons in the Department of Posts in the cadre of Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant, Postman and Multi-Tasking Staff in Tamilnadu Postal Circle," read the official notification released earlier.

Total - 231 Posts

Postman - 65 Posts, Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant - 89 Posts, Multi-Tasking Staff - 77 Posts

Educational Qualification

For Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant: Candidates need to have completed 12th Class

For Postman: Candidates should have completed 12th Class

For Multi-Tasking Staff: Candidates applying for the post need to have completed 10th Class

Age Limit

Candidates need to be between 18 and 25 years to apply for Multi-Tasking Staff. However, for Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant and Postman, the age limit is between 18 and 27 years.

Pay Scale of India Post Office Jobs

Postman: Rs 21700 - Rs 69100

Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant: Rs 25500 - Rs 81100

Multi-Tasking Staff: Rs 18000 - Rs 56900

Application Fee

Candidates applying under General/OBC categories will have to shell out Rs 100 as application fee. However, the fee has been exempted for SC/ST/PWD/Women/EWS candidates.
