The Tamil Nadu Postal Circle has invited applications for the positions of Postal Assistant, Postman and Multi-Tasking staff. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the positions before the deadline.
The last date of application submission for the India Post Office jobs is December 31, 2019.
"Applications are invited from meritorious Sports persons in the Department of Posts in the cadre of Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant, Postman and Multi-Tasking Staff in Tamilnadu Postal Circle," read the official notification.

Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant - 89 Posts
Education: Candidates need to have completed 12th Class
Postman - 65 Posts
Education: Candidates should have completed 12th Class
Multi-Tasking Staff - 77 Posts
Education: Candidates applying for the post need to have completed 10th Class
Total - 231 Posts
Age Limit
For Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant and Postman, the minimum age is 18 years while the upper age limit is 27 years.
However, to apply for Multi-Tasking Staff, candidates need to be between 18 and 25 years.
Pay Scale of India Post Office Jobs
Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant: Rs 25500 - Rs 81100
Postman: Rs 21700 - Rs 69100
Multi-Tasking Staff: Rs 18000 - Rs 56900
Application Fee
Candidates applying under General/OBC categories will have to pay Rs 100 as application fee. However, the fee has been exempted for SC/ST/PWD/Women/EWS candidates.
