India Post Office 7th Pay Commission Scale Fresh Jobs In 2020

India Post has released a notification and sought applications for the positions of Skilled Artisans. Candidates can apply for the positions till February 29, 2020.

India Post Office Recruitment Details: Eight Skilled Artisans Positions for Motor Vehicle Mechanic, Welder, Tinsmith, Blacksmith and Tyreman.

Educational Qualifications for Direct Recruits: A Certificate in the respective trade from any Technical Institution recognized by the government or VIII Standard with an experience of one year in the respective trade.

A candidate applying for the post of Mechanic (Motor Vehicle) should possess a valid Driving Licence (DL) to drive heavy vehicles.

Pay Scale: Rs 19900 (Level 2 in the pay matrix as per 7th Central Pay Commission)

Age Limit (as on 01.07.2020): The minimum age to apply for the India Post Office 7th Pay Commission Scale is 18 years while the upper age limit for the same is 30 years.

Meanwhile, age relaxation is there for SC/ST candidates by 05 years while for candidates applying under OBC category, the relaxation is by 03 years. For details, got through the link given below.

Selection Procedure: The selection of candidates is likely to be made amongst the candidates possessing the requisite qualifications and valid driving licence [only for Mechanic (MV)] by means of Competitive Trade Test.

The date and venue of the test along with the syllabus will be intimated separately to the eligible candidates at their correspondence address. No intimation will be sent in respect of other applicants who are not eligible, read the official notification.
