The Karnataka Postal Circle (Karnataka Postal Circle) has invited applications for the positions Junior Accountant, Postal Assistant, Sorting Assistant and Postman positions. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the positions by February 26, 2020.
Applications are invited in the Proforma given (Annexure-f) for the Direct Recruitment of meritorious sportspersons from open market under Sports Quota for filling the vacancies of the following posts in Karnataka Postal Circle:
i) Junior Accountant (JA) in Postal Accounts Office
Pay Scale: Rs. 25500- Rs. 81,100 in Level 4 as per Pay Matrix specified in Part A of Schedule of Central Civil Services (Revised Pay) Rules 2016 plus admissible allowances. (Rs 5200-20200 (Pay band -1) + Grade pay Rs 2800 under Pre-revised Pay scale).
ii) Postal Assistant (PA) in Post Offices or Administrative Offices
iii) Sorting Assistant (SA) in Railway Mal Offices
Pay Scale: Rs. 25500 to Rs.81100 in Level 4 as per Pay Matrix specified in Part A of Schedule of Central Civil Services (Revised Pay) Rules 2016 plus admissible allowances. (Rs 5200-20200 (Pay band -1) + Grade pay Rs 2400/ under Pre-revised Pay scale).
iv) Postman (PM) in Post Offices
Pay Scale: Rs. 21700-Rs. 69,100 in Level 3 as per Pay Matrix specified in Part A of Schedule of Central Civil Services (Revised Pay) Rules 2016 plus admissible allowances. (Rs 5200-20200 (Pay band-1) + Grade pay Rs.2000/ under Pre-revised scale.)
Probation: Candidates selected will be appointed and will be on probation as per rules.
Training: The training will be imparted to the candidates selected as prescribed.
Note: The Chief Postmaster General, Karnataka Circle reserves the right to revise/cancel the vacancies. The Chief Postmaster General reserves the right to post the selected candidates to any of the Division /unit/office mentioned above or to any other place in Karnataka Circle depending upon the category of post.
