Dhenkanal: The Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) has invited applications from interested and eligible candidates for recruitment of faculty positions in the field of Mass Communication.

The IIMC is looking to recruit faculty with broad specialization in Journalism Studies, Broadcast Journalism, Oral & Visual Communication, Political Communication, New Media, ICT, Data Journalism, Integrated Marketing Communication.

Similarly, candidates can also look for faculty positions in Media Laws & Regulations, Health Communication, Science Communication, Communication Research, Training Pedagogy, Publications/Graphics/Design etc.

Eligible candidates can visit the official website at www.iimc.gov.in to get all the details about the vacancy, salary and qualifications.

Candidates are being instructed to download application form from the official website and fill it up before sending it with a demand draft of Rs 200 drawn in favour of Indian Institute of Mass Communication, New Delhi.

The complete application and DD should reach the office of ADG, IIMC Aruna Asaf Ali Road, JNU Campus, New Delhi 110067 latest by 6 p.m. of  30th August 2019.

1. Professor : 6 Posts (1 SC, 5 UR)
2. Associate Professor: 6 Posts (1 SC, 5 UR)
3. Assistant Professor: 2 Posts (UR)

Scale of pay

1. Professors: Level 14 of the Pay Matrix Rs. 1, 44,200-2, 18,200.
2. Associate Professor: Level 13A of the Pay Matrix Rs. 1, 31,400-2, 17,100.
3. Assistant Professor: Level 10 of the Pay Matrix Rs. 57,700-1, 82,400.
