Bhubaneswar: The Food Corporation of India (FCI) has invited online applications from eligible candidates for the posts of 89 Assistant General Manager and Medical Officer.
The pay scale for Scale of Assistant General Manager (General Administration/ Technical/ Accounts/ Law) is Rs 60,000-1,80,000 (IDA Pattern) while it is Rs 50,000- 1,60,000 for Medical Officer.
The online application process for the posts and payment of fees will start on March 1, at 10 am. Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria will have to apply for the posts by visiting the official website of the FCI, https://fci.gov.in/.
Candidates applying for the post are required to submit APPLICATION FEE of Rs. 1000 (Excluding bank charges but including GST) by using Debit Cards (RuPay/ Visa/ MasterCard/ Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets, UPI by providing information as asked on the screen. The last date to apply online and payment of fee is March 31.
The selection process will be consisting of Online Test and Interview. Candidates will be shortlisted for Interview on criteria of 50% marks in Online Test for unreserved and EWS categories and 45% marks for SC, ST, OBC and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities. The weightage assigned for Online Test and interview is 90% and 10% respectively.
The number of candidates to be called for interview shall normally be three times the number of advertised vacancies.
However, where the number of candidates is less than three times the number of vacancies, all the qualifying candidates may be called for interview as the case may be.
A candidate has to appear in all the phases of the recruitment process to be considered for the selection. The candidates are advised to visit FCI Website regularly.
Candidates can download the admit card for the recruitment exam about 10 days prior to the announcement of the date of the exam. The tentative date of the online test is May or June, 2021.
