DRDO Vacancy 2020: Last Chance To Apply For 1817 Posts In 7th Pay Commission Scale

The Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO) had released a recruitment notification seeking applications for Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) positions. While the applications for the positions had begun earlier, the last date to apply for the same is tomorrow- January 23, 2020.

“DRDO invites online applications from the desirous and eligible candidates to fill up the vacant posts of MTS, General Central service Group ‘C’, Non-Gazetted, Ministerial post. Candidates are advised to read the complete advertisement carefully, before filling up the online application form,” read the vacancy notification.

Name of Post: Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS)

Total No of Posts: 1817

Candidates must note that the number of vacancies may increase or decrease depending upon requirement. A vacancy may be kept unfilled, if no candidate is found suitable.

Reservations for vacancy of SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS are applied vertically and the same for PWD/ESM/MSP are applied horizontally as per extant Govt. of India rules. Total numbers of vacancies are inclusive of number of vacancies of PWD/ESM/MSP.

Age Limit: Minimum 18 years, Maximum 25 Years

“The age limit is relaxable for SC/ST/OBCNCL/ESM/PWD/WIDOWS/ Divorced Women/ Women judicially separated from their husbands who are not remarried, Central Govt Civilian Employees, Disabled Defence Services Personnel and Persons Domiciled in J&K State during the period from 01-01-1980 to 31-12-1989 as per extant Govt. of India,” the notification said.

Educational Qualification

Candidates applying need to have completed 10th Class or equivalent from a recognised Board or Industrial Training Institute (ITI) pass. Candidates must have acquired the EQR as on crucial date of eligibility for the posts they are applying.

Those awaiting results of the final examination as on crucial date of eligibility for the prescribed qualification are not eligible and hence should not apply.

Pay Scale: Pay matrix Level-1 (Rs 18000 - Rs 56900) as per 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) Pay Matrix and other benefits/allowances as per extant Govt. of India rules

“Instructions for filling up of online application and Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) are available on Centre for Personnel Talent Management (CEPTAM) notice board of DRDO website, www.drdo.gov.in. Translation ambiguity, if any, shall be resolved by referring to the English version of the advertisement published in the Employment News. In case of any ambiguity, the decision of DRDO will be final,” the notification added.
