DRDO Vacancy 2020, Application Submission Process Begins Today

In a big opportunity for government job aspirants, the Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO) has released a vacancy notification seeking applications from eligible candidates for Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) positions.

“DRDO invites online applications from the desirous and eligible candidates to fill up the vacant posts of MTS, General Central service Group ‘C’, Non-Gazetted, Ministerial post. Candidates are advised to read the complete advertisement carefully, before filling up the online application form,” read the vacancy notification.

Meanwhile, the application submission process for the above mentioned posts has begun today and candidates can apply for the same till January 23, 2020.

NOTE: The number of vacancies may increase or decrease depending upon the requirement of the organisation. A vacancy may be kept unfilled, if no candidate is found suitable.

Reservations for vacancy of SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS are applied vertically and the same for PWD/ESM/MSP are applied horizontally as per extant Govt. of India rules. Total numbers of vacancies are inclusive of number of vacancies of PWD/ESM/MSP, the notification stated.

Age Limit: Minimum 18 years, Maximum 25 years

“The age limit is relaxable for SC/ST/OBCNCL/ESM/PWD/WIDOWS/ Divorced Women/ Women judicially separated from their husbands who are not remarried, Central Govt Civilian Employees, Disabled Defence Services Personnel and Persons Domiciled in J&K State during the period from 01-01-1980 to 31-12-1989 as per extant Govt. of India,” it said.

Educational Qualification: Candidates applying need to have completed 10th or equivalent from a recognised Board or Industrial Training Institute (ITI) pass. Candidates must have acquired the EQR as on crucial date of eligibility for the posts they are applying.

Those awaiting results of the final examination as on crucial date of eligibility for the prescribed qualification are not eligible and hence should not apply.

Pay Scale: Pay matrix Level-1 (Rs 18000 - Rs 56900) as per 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) Pay Matrix and other benefits/allowances as per extant Govt. of India rules

“Instructions for filling up of online application and Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) are available on Centre for Personnel Talent Management (CEPTAM) notice board of DRDO website, www.drdo.gov.in,” the notification read.
