Educational Qualification

Fellowships at JRF level are available initially for a period of two year (extendable as per rule) at monthly stipend of Rs 31000 (House Rent Allowance is admissible as per Central Government rules).

Interested candidates may appear for a walk-in interview to be held at DROMI, Delhi for the selection of JRF as per details below:

Remote Sensing/ Geoinformatics/Geomatics/Geology/Geography: M.Sc./M.Sc.(Tech.) with 1st division at Graduate & Post Graduate level and valid NET GATE qualification/score. OR M.E./M.Tech with 1st division at both Graduate and Post-Graduate level.

Preferable: Experience in Remote Sensing and GIS

Civil Engineering: BE/B.Tech with 1st division and valid NET/GATE 01 score. OR M.E./M.Tech with 1st division at both Graduate and Post-Graduate level.

Preferable: Experience in Remote Sensing and GIS

Computer Science/Computer Engineering: BE/B.Tech/M.Sc/M.Sc. (Tech.) with 1st division and valid NET/GATE score. OR M.E./M.Tech with 1st division at both Graduate and Post-Graduate level.

Preferable: Experience in Remote Sensing and GIS

NOTE: Those who possess the above mentioned qualification(s) only need to attend. All qualification(s) acquired should be from recognized Universities/Institutions. NET/GATE qualification wherever prescribed should be valid as on date of walk-in-interview. Director, DTRL reserves the right not to select any candidate, if suitable candidates are not available.

Age Limit: The upper age limit to walk-in interview is 28 years.

Other Important Details

Interested candidates may appear for a walk-in-interview on 05.02.2020 at 09:15 Hrs at DROMI, Delhi 110054. Candidates will be admitted from 9:15 Hrs to 11:15 Hrs only. No candidate will be allowed to appear in interview if he/she arrives beyond 11:15 Hrs.

Candidates are required to produce all certificates/ testimonials/Community certificate/valid GATE/NET Score card etc. in original along with their bio-data at the time of walk-in-interview.

They must also bring a set of self attested copies of all their certificates/ testimonials/ Community certificate/valid GATE/NET Score card and ID proof (Voter's ID/Aadhaar Card/PAN Card/Driving License) along with one recent passport size photograph at the time of interview.

Candidates working in Govt. / Public Sector Undertaking / Autonomous Bodies should apply through proper channel.

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the walk-in-interview.

It may please be noted that offer of fellowships does not confer on fellows any right for absorption in DRDO. Moreover, the fellowship may also be terminated at any stage by Director, DTRL, without assigning any reason.
