The Director (CTET) & Secretary of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) had issued a notification for the CTET candidates on the official website stating that the Board will conduct the 13th edition of Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) on December 8, 2019 (Sunday). The test will be conducted in 110 cities all over the country.

Online correction in particulars of application form was available from October 4, 2019 to October 10, 2019. No corrections shall be allowed under any circumstances after this date, the notification has clarified.

In the CBSE CTET 2019 exam that was held on July 7, 2019 in 97 cities across the country, around 20, 84,147 candidates appeared in the examination in twenty different languages. The CTET certificate helps candidates in applying for teacher vacancies released by different schools like KVS, NVS Army Teacher, ERDO, etc. The certificate is considered as the minimum eligibility to avail the job.

The online application-process for CTET December 2019 examination started from August 19, 2019. Due to administrative reasons, the last date for submitting online application was extended till September 30, 2019. Online correction in particulars of application form was available from October 4, 2019 to October 10, 2019. No corrections shall be allowed under any circumstances after this date. The Information Bulletin containing details of examination, syllabus, languages, eligibility criteria, examination fee, and examination cities are available on CTET official website www.ctet.nic.in.
