BARC Recruitment 2019: Fresh Notification Released For Stipendiary Trainees; Hurry Up

The Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Kalpakkam (BARC, Kalpakkam) has invited applications for Stipendiary Trainees. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the positions by August 7, 2019.

“Government strives to have a workforce which reflects gender balance and women candidates are encouraged to apply,” the notification read.

Plant Operator - 07, Laboratory Assistant - 04, Fitter - 12, Welder - 02, Turner - 01, Electrician - 04, Instrument Mechanic - 08, Electronic Mechanic - 04, A/C Mechanic - 01

Category-II Stipendiary Trainees: Total No. of posts: 43 [28 Posts for NRB, Kalpakkam (SC- 06 , OBC- 12, UR- 08, EWS- 02) and 15 Posts for NRB, Tarapur (OBC- 03, UR- 11, EWS- 01).

Educational/Technical Qualifications should be from a recognized University/Board of Technical Education of Central or State Government, the notification further read.

Age Limit

Candidates’ age must be Minimum 18 years and Maximum 25 Years. For the Details of age relaxation, check official notification given below.

Mode Of Selection

The selection process will consist of test in 3 stages. (Stage 1 & 2 – Written Test and Stage 3 - Trade /Skill Test).

There will be negative marking in the written Examination for incorrect answers.

Stage 1- Preliminary Test : Questions will be on Mathematics, Science and General Awareness.

Stage 2- Advanced test : Candidates clearing Preliminary Test will be eligible for appearing in Advanced Test (Questions will be from the respective trade).

Stage 3- Trade /Skill Test: Only for those candidates who have cleared the Stage-2 test and will be on go/no-go basis.
