7th Central Pay Commission Scale Non-Teaching Posts' Vacancy In IIT Patna Announced

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Patna has released a recruitment notification for 'Non-Teaching' positions under the pay scale of 7th Central Pay Commission.

Applications have been sought for the positions of Deputy Registrar, Assistant Registrar, Medical Officer, Junior Superintendent, Junior Accountant, Superintending Engineer, Junior Engineer, Senior Library Information Assistant, Junior Technical Superintendent and Public Relation Officer.

While the application submission process has already begun from November 22, candidates can apply for the positions till December 23, 2019.

Educational Qualification

Graduate, Post Graduate, MBA, CA, MBBS degree holders can apply for the above mentioned positions. For more educational details, go through the official notification link given below.

The post of Public Relation Officer will be filled on 'Contract' basis, initially for three years but extendable for next two years based on performance. Consolidated pay in the range of Rs 60000 to Rs 70000 and HRA @8% on pay will be paid, in case on campus accommodation is unavailable. 10 per cent increase in consolidated pay will be considered on yearly basis, read the official notification.

The Institute reserves the right to place a reasonable limit on the total number of candidates to be called for test/interview. Fulfillment of the prescribed essential and /desirable qualifications will not entitle a candidate automatically to be called for test/ interview.

Institute reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of vacancies advertised as per need or cancel the advertisement itself in Toto or partially without any further notification or assigning any reason.

Employees of Govt. Semi Govt. Organization/ Autonomous bodies should submit their application through proper channel.

Age relaxation for SC, ST, OBC, Ex-servicemen and Divyang candidates against reserved posts shall be admissible as per Government of India norms.

Reservation for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/Ex Serviceman/ Persons with disabilities will be exactly as per Govt. of India rules.

OBC (NCL) certificate issued only on or after 01.04.2019 will be considered. OBC (NCL) certificate has to be either submitted with application form or produced during the time of document verification for availing age relaxation/ reservation under OBC (NCL) category.

No TA will be paid for written/trade test.

The candidates applying for more than one post must submit their separate application form for each post and send them in separate covers superscribing the post applied for.
