Malai Chicken tikka is a lip-smacking appetizer. These tikkas are not too spicy and utterly creamy. You can to kids due to their mild flavors.

Malai Chicken tikka is a delicious recipe that’s perfect for a dinner party or a summer barbeque. You can also serve it with naan or paratha as a main course, along with sliced onions, green chutney, tamarind chutney, and a few lemon wedges.

Ingredient required

  1. 500g Boneless Chicken
  2. 2 tsp Ginger garlic paste
  3. 2 tsp Lemon juice
  4. 1/2 tsp Salt
  5. 4 tbsp Hung curd
  6. 3 tbsp cheese spread
  7. 12 Cashews
  8. 5 tbsp Fresh cream
  9. 1/2 - 1 Green Chilli
  10. 1/2 tsp White pepper
  11. 1/2 tsp Garam masala
  12. 1/2 tsp Cardamom seeds
  13. 1/4 tsp Nutmeg powder
  14. 1/2 tsp Salt
  15. 1 tbsp Chopped coriander
  16. 1 tsp Ghee/oil

How to make

  1. Mix the chicken with ginger garlic paste and lemon juice and leave for 15 mins until you make the rest of the marinade.
  2. Blend the soaked cashews, fresh cream, chilli and cardamom seeds.
  3. Transfer to a bowl and add the rest of the marinade ingredients.
  4. Mix into the chicken and leave to marinade for 1 hour or up to 4 hours.
  5. Add some ghee/oil to a pan and sauté the chicken until cooked.
  6. Serve immediately with your choice of chutney or sauce and relish it.
