The air was filled with devotion and festivity across Odisha as devotees thronged the Durga Puja pandals on Maha Navami. The rhythmic tolling of bells and resonant sound of conch shells echoed through the pandals, creating a vibrant spiritual atmosphere.
While Maha Navami rituals were being performed at puja pandals, preparations for Dasami Puja continued at the altar, blending celebration with solemn worship. The chanting of Vedic mantras and the recitation of Chandi Path reverberated across the mandaps, leaving devotees spellbound.
Crowds of devotees gathered in large numbers, eager to catch a glimpse of the goddess and receive her blessings. The pandals were bustling with energy, showcasing the unique confluence of faith, culture, and community participation.
In Cuttack, Maa Gadachandi adorned her golden attire, offering darshan to a steady stream of devotees. Later in the afternoon, the Mahasaraswati Vesh was scheduled for Maa Katak Chandi, adding another layer of spiritual fervour to the celebrations.
