Mayor Subhas Singh said, “CMC’s special council meeting was held yesterday and a proposal was moved relating to extending the duration of the fair. We had moved the proposal so that it will be helpful for the traders and other women Self-Help Groups to do good business at the fair which was held after a gap of two years.”

Singh said that the district administration has said that the traders will not have to pay more taxes in view of the extension of the Bali Yatra fair.
